In collaboration with Baltimore Museum of Art and curator Kristen Hileman, Ars Formulae provided comprehensive exhibition design services for John Water’s first visual arts retrospective in his home city of Baltimore, Maryland. Spanning almost five decades of work, this colossal exhibition incorporates over 160 sculptures, photographs, ephemera, video and sound works exhibited throughout five discrete galleries. Ars Formulae worked intimately with the museum’s technical and curatorial staff to deliver a full suite of 3D models and isometric drawings ahead of installation, with all 160+ works rendered in virtual space in high definition for fluid reference and visualization.
